Registration fee includes 2010 annual TERA membership fee, admission to oral /poster sessions, lunch box and coffee/tea breaks, souvenirs and conference proceedings.
Registered oral/ poster presenters will be issued with a certificate of paper presentation.
 
Guidelines for abstract and full paper submissions
A Chinese abstract of approximately 500 words or an English paper abstract of approximately 300 words should be submitted before September 30, 2010. Click here to download the format of paper abstract
The acceptance of paper abstracts will be announced before Octorber 15, 2010 at the website of TERA: http://www.tera.org.tw. A letter of acceptance will be emailed to individual authors afterwards.
Instructions for oral and poster sessions
The conference will feature two types of presentation: oral and poster. The author of an accepted paper can choose to deliver a presentation in an oral or poster session.
Oral sessions: Each session will consist of 3-4 speakers and each speaker will be allocated with 12 minutes of presentation followed by a joint discussion period of 15-20 minutes. A Microsoft Power Point file is requested for a presentation. Each meeting room is equipped with a Windows XP computer and a data/video projector.
Poster sessions: The poster size is limited to maximum 100 cm of height and 80 cm of width and no restriction given to the color and content of a poster. Poster sessions will take place on Friday, 25 December between 12:00 – 14:30. Poster presenters are expected to attend the whole designated session to discuss your work. Tacks and technical equipment will be available for the hanging of posters.

Travel information
National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU) is located in the southern city of Kaohsiung, the second largest metropolitan in Taiwan with a population of 1.5 million. The campus is situated right on the beautiful beach of Hsitsu Bay overlooking the Taiwan Strait, and is adjacent to the Kaohsiung Harbor.
After arriving in Taoyuan International Airport TIA (TPE), Taiwan, you can reach Kaohsiung by taking domestic flights from TIA (TPE) to Kaohsiung International Airport (KIA) and then take MRT train from KIA station to Hsitsu Bay Station, which is just 10 minute walk away from NSYU campus.
Or you can take High Speed Rail (HSR) from Taoyuan Station to Kaohsiung Station and then take MRT train from High Speed Rail-Kaohsiung Station to Hsitsu Bay Station.
If you choose to take a taxi or bus from the Kaohsiung International Airport (KIA) to reach NSYSU campus, it is about 40 minutes by taxi or 50 minutes by bus from KIA.
